Staples will be responsible for driving sales through the channel. He already has a vision of what kind of strategy to adopt. "To make a channel program work, you need to have all the ducks lined up in a row," he said in a statement. "It's not just about commissions, you've also got to offer support, training, marketing assistance, competitive pricing and, of course, great products." Staples will recruit, train and support channel partners. He was previously the national channel manager for international ISP, Pacnet.
